Meet the Founder
I’m Bart McIntosh, founder of Ever After Wedding Studios. I live in Topeka, Kansas, with my wife, and we’ve been married for 35 years. We have three grown children, two of whom are married, and one beautiful granddaughter. Family has always been an important part of my life, and as our children grew up and began starting families of their own, I found myself entering a new chapter too.
The idea behind Ever After Wedding Studios really started before I ever thought about creating a wedding business. After going through the wedding planning experience with two of my children, I started looking at weddings differently. Weddings are incredibly meaningful days, but I also saw how quickly the planning can become overwhelming and how easily costs can grow. There are so many decisions to make, so many things couples are told they “need,” and so much pressure to create the perfect wedding. It made me wonder why planning a beautiful wedding had to feel so complicated.
I began thinking about couples who wanted something a little different. Maybe their perfect wedding wasn’t at a traditional wedding venue. Maybe it was beside a lake, in a vineyard, on a family property, in a beautiful field, or simply somewhere that meant something to them. And I realized something along the way.
Most couples don’t need a full-time wedding planner. They just need someone to walk beside them, helping them figure out what matters, what comes next, and how to bring it all together. That idea eventually became Ever After Wedding Studios.
Today, my goal is to help couples create weddings that feel personal, meaningful and financially comfortable for them. Sometimes that means giving them the right tools to plan confidently on their own. Sometimes it means helping them figure out what to do next, researching the right setting, or walking alongside them throughout the planning process. I don’t believe a wedding has to be the biggest, most expensive or most elaborate day possible to be unforgettable. I believe your wedding should feel like a special day that only the
two of you could have created.
